Where You Found Me

Contemporary Romance / Suspense

Some people don't rescue you. They just refuse to leave.

Nine months ago, Elle Bennett walked away from a life that looked perfect from the outside and felt like a locked room from the inside. She took a different name, a rented cottage at the far end of a coastal town, and a promise to herself that she would never again need anyone.

Cade Whitaker was not part of the plan. He is quiet where she is guarded, steady where she is bracing for impact — and he asks nothing of her except the truth, which is the only thing she cannot give.

But the past she outran has been patient. It knows what she left behind. And when it finally comes looking, Elle has to decide whether the safest thing she has ever done is also the loneliest — or whether being found is the one risk worth taking.

Driven By Desire

Contemporary Romance / Spicy

He was never a mistake. He was a decision she kept making.

Sloane Reyes has built a life on control — the schedule, the career, the very short list of people allowed close enough to disappoint her. One weekend off the grid was supposed to be the exception, not the beginning.

Then the man she swore she would never see again is standing in her boardroom on Monday, wearing a name she did not ask for and a smile that says he remembers every single thing.

What starts as a line neither of them should cross becomes the only place either of them tells the truth. But wanting someone this much has a cost, and Sloane is about to find out exactly what she is willing to pay.

Where You Found Me

two writers, one name

The writers

Two women, one pen name.

It started the way most good things do — as a conversation that went on far too long. One of us plots the whole thing on index cards before a word gets written. The other opens a blank page and follows the characters wherever they go. Somewhere between those two instincts, Alyson Morgan showed up.

We write contemporary romance with a suspense streak: stories about women rebuilding after something broke, and the men steady enough to stand there while they do it. Sometimes the danger is a person. Sometimes it's just the risk of being seen.

Every book gets written twice — once by each of us — and argued over in the margins of a shared document that never quite closes. If a scene made it into the final draft, it's because neither of us could cut it.

What you can expect

  • Heroines with a spine

Our women arrive with their own lives already in progress. The romance changes them — it doesn't rescue them.

  • Men who pay attention

Not perfect. Not tortured for sport. Just the kind of man who notices what you didn't say out loud.

  • Tension that earns it

We hold the line as long as it can hold. When it finally breaks, you'll have felt every page of the wait.

  • Endings worth the bruises

Always a happily ever after. Never an easy one.
